Youth Ministries

"The primary task of youth ministry is to love youth where they are, to encourage them in developing their relationship to God, to provide them with opportunities for nurture and growth, and to challenge them to respond to God’s call to serve in their communities.”

—The Book of Discipline of the United Methodist Church

Whether in the Blacksburg area or not, our youth often engage with service projects! Over the past several years, we have enjoyed many different mission trips across the country. We regularly travel to Winchester for the Jeremiah Project, a middle school mission camp where youth and adults work to make homes warmer, safer, drier, and more accessible for those in need. Check out this year's mission trips below:

Middle School Mission Trip: The Jeremiah Project to Winchester, VA from July 12th-18th

High School Mission Trip: BUMC Led trip to Southport, NC! Dates will be released soon.
