A discipleship pathway is a framework designed to help you deepen and transform your relationship with Christ in order to become a follower of Jesus who also helps cultivate other  disciples. At Blacksburg United Methodist Church, our discipleship pathway is imagined as a journey.  Using the trail map, the hike connects four distinct campsites, or phases of the journey.  We invite you into different "basecamp" experiences which help lead you into the next stage.  But the path isn’t necessarily linear. You might take a side trail, returning to a previous basecamp, or bypass the next one. Instead of ending at a final destination, this journey is a continuous loop as we hope to spend our lives in transformative discipleship.
