We strive to encourage, support, and engage the adults in our congregation to be life-long learners.
Koinonia - Gunnar Teilmann - Journey - Pairs and Spares - Logos - Murill Bible Class
Blacksburg United Methodist Church offers a variety of opportunities for adults to engage in Christian education on Sunday mornings! All classes meet from 9:40am to 10:40am. We invite you to visit our classes and find one that fits you!
In various homes throughout Blacksburg!
We believe important conversations with God and with each other change everything about how we live in the world. In addition to worship, home groups are the best way we know to affirm, doubt, laugh, and dream our way toward faith. Home Groups meet at homes in and around Blacksburg during the week.
Health Closet - Balance/Strength Class
We care for the adults in our church with a health closet with walkers, wheelchairs, and various other medical equipment that can be loaned to church members, as well as a weekly Balance Class that helps participants gain confidence, stability, and strength Wednesdays at 10am downstairs at the Harding Ave. Campus.
Older Adults Ministry
Sequoia is a new monthly group for older adults to share their concerns related to aging! It meets every first Wednesday, 1:30pm - 3:00pm in the Church St. Conference Room (111 Church St. SE, Blacksburg, VA 24060). For more information contact Pam Tessnear at firstname.lastname@example.org. In case of inclement weather, if schools are closed we will not meet until the following month.
