Blacksburg United Methodist Church member Minnis Ridenour has initiated an exciting ministry for theological education in post-communist countries of Europe and the Balkans.  Minnis in partnership with leaders in Europe, Russia and the United States developed a training program for people serving in ministry in post-communist countries of Europe and the Balkans.  The development of the Methodist e-Academy allows emerging church leaders to have access to a theological education in preparation for service in ministry.  It is an innovative initiative that United Methodist leaders in the United States are now considering for theological education in their own context.  It has the potential to the impact 21st century Methodism in profoundly important ways.  To learn more about this program, view Theological Education in Post-Communist Countries of Europe and the Balkans.
