Visitation Ministry

The Visitation Ministry of  Blacksburg United Methodist Church (BUMC) is composed of a group of dedicated members who  work in teams of two.  Each team  visits two or three  shut-ins from our church and community each month.  The purposes of  these visits are to keep the shut-ins abreast of what is happening at BUMC, to be aware of and offer support for any needs they may have, and to let each of them know that they are still a cherished part of our church family.  Anyone who is interested in helping with this ministry either as a regular monthly visitor or to substitute occasionally should call Jean Wheeler at 552-2376  -  e-mail:  rswh1@verizon.net
