Special Events

The children enjoy a number of special events throughout the year. Annual events have included the Family Fall Festival in October, the Bethlehem Birthday Bash in December, Kids’ Movie Night in late winter, and the Children’s Easter Celebration in the spring. We also offer occasional events called 4th & 5th Grade Fun especially for our upper elementary children.

Upcoming Events

Kids’ Movie Night:  Kids 2 years old through 5th grade are invited to join us on Saturday, February 11, 6:00-8:00 p.m., for an evening of movies and popcorn at the BUMC Cinema!  Several movie selections will be available for your viewing pleasure.  Movie refreshments will be served, but be sure to eat dinner before you arrive.  Bring a pillow or blanket for watching in comfort.  The nursery will be open for younger siblings.  Adults and youth can get in on the fun by signing up as volunteers!  Please reserve your place at Movie Night by signing up on the registration forms in the Whisner Building, the sanctuary lobby, and children’s Sunday School classes or by contacting Tindal Snider (bumc.children@verizon.net, 552-5424 ext. 2).
