Blacksburg Estates Ministries Our gathering place. 301 Givens Lane, Lot 143 We gather at #143! Hence our name fun143! Introducing The Ministry Blacksburg Estates Ministries Blacksburg United Methodist Church has worked in the Blacksburg Estates Community for the past several years. Volunteers from the congregation provide tutoring services to the children of the community. We also offer transportation to church, school, and community events and activities, as well as a summer enrichment program. In addition, we host a number of special events designed to bring the entire community together. In February of 2006, we secured a home in the community to house our ministry. In 2009, we moved to our second location and our activities account for the name of our ministry as well as the slogan for our programs: fun143.
