Acolytes/Crucifer/Bible Bearer

There are opportunities for young people starting in the 5th grade to serve in both traditional services.

Acolytes serve during both worship services in the sanctuary.  Duties include lighting altar candles and Advent candles during Advent,  handing the offering plates to ushers, receiving the plates back, and then placing the offering plates on the altar.  May assist as needed during Communion.

The Crucifer at the 11am service will lead the processional at the beginning of worship carrying the cross. They may also be asked to assist as needed with Communion.

The Bible Bearer at the 11:00 am service will carry the Altar Bible in the Processional at the beginning of worship. They may also be asked to assist as needed with Communion.
